Lordes make a significant contribution to the Guernsey Motor Festival

Lordes Luxury Car Storage, based in Guernsey, held a prime position on the waterfront display with 6 exotic cars, including their very own Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup racing car which is currently competing in Porsche Carrera Cup GB with racing driver Richard Hawken.

The static display drew tremendous attention from the crowds and the Lordes team even allowed selected induviduals upclose and personal with the supercars. Many photographs were taken!

Lordes Luxury Car Storage is a specialist car storage business, specifically designed to cater for collectible car collections. Lordes operate a fully managed state of the art, dehumidified, climate controlled facility. The attendance of the Guernsey Motoring Festival was something the local business was keen to attend, Alan Cartwright, Group CEO said: “ I was thrilled by the enthusiastic reaction of the Guernsey Public to our standing display of six stunning cars on the waterfront and the moving display of our directors’ two Lamborghini’s and Ferrari that were driven by our motorsports team. What a fun day ! “ The rolling parade at the end of the day was particularly popular, drawing the large crowds and also TV coverage.

Motorsport is a core part of the Lordes brand and vision, something which is made clear by the stunning livery design the Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup that was on display. Richard Hawken, the driver of the Lordes car in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB series said: “it was great to see the Lordes Porsche Carrera Cup Car visit its terrestrial home in Guernsey at the Motorsport Seafront Sunday, hopefully the first of many visits for it. Combined with the 5 other supercars owned by the Lordes Chairperson, I think we achieved our objective, to make a big splash on the seafront”. Richard is racing this Sunday at Snetterton which will be broadcast live on ITV4 at 3pm.
